Simulation of Virtual Path Routing on Asynchronous Transfer Mode Network Using Heuristic Design Algorithm

Abstract

Integrity services needs a quality of service. Needs of network resources become a problems to perform variety of services. To solves the problems, Asynchronous Transfer Mode technology able to virtualized of network resources with the virtual path concept. Heuristic design algorithm using equivalent bandwidth concept to  calculate  the capacity of virtual path and ensure the quality service fulfilled. Quality of service is  stated on cell loss probability. This algorithm applied on virtual path routing with objectivity to minimize the maximum link  utilization with delayed  process of limitation.
